New opportunties are comming into light for homebuyers and homeowners to refinance as mortgage interest rates have dropped to some of the lowest levels since 2004. Rates are bottoming out at about 5.5% of 30 year fixed mortgages compared to somewhere in the neighborhood of 6.25% last year around the same time period.
